My Life

I Love You!

Today is the day I’m scheduled to hang; no one left has confessed even me. I refuse to lie for m y life if I die I’ll die an honest man. They brought my beautiful Elizabeth in to see me I suppose they wanted her to convince me to confess, and I had considered it I really did, but the man in me the god fearing man wouldn’t let me sign that confession paper. It was bad enough that I had to die but to keep my life in exchange for a lie was not in my character I just couldn’t do it and to have it hanging on the church door. The church door I just couldn’t let them hang a lie so massive on the church door. But most of all my pride wouldn’t let me confess I couldn’t shame my own name any more than I already had. Especially since I confessed to the court that I had slept with Abigail, and in return still didn’t save my wife.  I love my family god knows I do but I just couldn’t let that happen. I know that Elizabeth is safe even if it only for a couple of months she is safe and I got to see her one last time before I died. It’s said that Abigail and some other girls ran off with Reverend Parris’s money never to be heard of again I suppose. These are my last word and I want the world to know I love my family!

No Shackles

Today my lovely Elizabeth was taken from me she has been accused of witchcraft, the entire town has gone mad my wife has never done such things she is not even capable of these unbelievable accusations.  She has never even spoke a lie out of her lovely mouth. Abigail is the blame for the stupidity that has this town gone array, she has everyone hanging on to her every word, every lie, and she now costing lives. This has gone to be too much; I knew something wasn’t right when Mr. Hale showed up at our house with all those damn questions! She did great though she showed him we showed him even under pressure she showed her grace and her faith and knowledge of the book.  I begged them not to put her into shackles when they came to take her away. I raised hell even going against the court and ripping up the warrant, I was so angry how could they think the sweetest woman I know do something so unspeakable such as deal with the devil. She has no blame or blush on her name unlike that darn Abigail and the rest of those girls sitting in that court lying and taking peoples lives. I’m so disgusted.

Unforgivable & Unbelievable

I often wonder will I ever be forgiven seeing the look on my wife’s face is heartache in its own, now to add the madness the town is going through the look is now just unbearable. Elizabeth and I had a somewhat heated conversation today it really wasn’t a good one at all. It started off very well I’m trying to make sure everything I do pleases her. I mean I have been walking on eggshells since my encounter with Abigail. She says she has forgiven me that’s it’s the right Christian thing to do but I see the hurt still sitting there behind her eyes. And my maid that darn Mary Warren is out of control speaking and acting any kind of way she says she is now a official of the court. What kind of foolishness is that? And I’m guessing she actually is they people of Salem have sent for four judges from Boston to come and pass judgment on those accused of witchcraft if you ask me I believe its all foolery. I don’t believe there is any witchcraft here at work in Salem, and Abigail said there wasn’t any witchcraft at work when they were dancing in the woods. So where is this foolishness coming from really what really going on in the town. It smells of sweet revenge to me.

Long Days...

Long days… Long days… I just had the most interesting conversation with Abigail. Yeah I’m going to say her name online cause at this point I’m very fed up with the drama she is bringing to everybody. Apparently Betty Parris has fallen sick and nobody can figure out the cause of her illness, they have even called for outside help. As Abigail tells me she and the other girl were out in the woods with Tituba Rev. Parris’s slave dancing. Rev. Parris jumped out of the bushes and scared his own daughter silly. Abby says there is no witchcraft at play here, yet her uncle has called in Mr. Hale a man known for being able to seek out witchcraft. The entire town is now speaking of witchcraft it beginning to spread quickly. Abigail even came on to me! That foolish child I have already told her I wish to never back track back down that lane. She insists on forcing g herself upon me like the harlot she is. I believe she is holding a serious grudge against my wife for throwing her out on the street and well being my wife. Just as the conversation was taking a twisted turn Betty began to cry out a horrible as a psalm was being sang it seems as though soon as she heard the name of Jesus she began to cry, who’s to know the reason.
